Chima is a seasoned marketing analyst with a strong focus on leveraging technology to drive business growth. He has led corporate communications at Nigeria’s largest business listing platform and directed marketing initiatives across logistics, music streaming, and tech ventures.

He holds an Executive Master’s in Marketing and Communications from Rome Business School and VIU – Universidad Internacional de Valencia, and is known for leading high-performing teams to deliver ambitious marketing, product, and business outcomes.

 

Chima is a multi-award-winning professional, recognized by the Commonwealth of Nations and GTBank.

 

He currently contributes to operational excellence at the University of Nottingham Innovation Park (UNIP), following his role supporting programme execution at the Centre for Business and Industry Transformation (CBIT) at Nottingham Trent University—both part of his broader efforts to strengthen Nottingham’s tech ecosystem.

 

In 2018, Chima co-founded WeMove Technologies Limited, a transport tech company where he led brand, marketing, and communications strategy. Under his leadership, the company generated $400k in revenue, achieved a 75% referral rate, and earned a Net Promoter Score of 4/5.

 

Previously, he served as Head of Communications at VConnect Global Services, overseeing teams across Africa and Asia. He joined the company in 2015 as a Creative Executive and played a pivotal role in helping over 1.2 million SMEs establish their first online presence—preceding the launch of Google My Business in Nigeria.

 

Chima has also led notable projects, including branding Lagos’ first cycling marathon, the Lagos Criterium (2016); coordinating the launch of Facebook (Meta) Free Basics in Nigeria (2017); and executing WeMove’s Tourism Technology Bootcamp (2020/2021).
